Sometimes people surprise me in a nice way...

Talked to Wendy this morning about the problem, and she has given me an hour this afternoon to sit in her office and try and phone the American Embassy. It's stuff like that which takes me by surprise.

I am however seriously thinking about my options... the whole supply thing looks at if it would make things /so/ much easier. But of course that would depend on if I could have work on a regular basis, to make sure that I have work and money.

*sigh*

Hopefully something will work out soon - before I lose my mind.

Call and let me know how it went... We're rooting for you. Maybe a collection of the letter from Pam, the Embacy, all of that together will work out in the end. It's all we can hope for. Jayonti made it in somehow... Maybe I'll try and ask her how she did it.

I don't even know what I need to say to these people in the embassy, because of course Pam didn't get back to me... I should maybe try to call her - make sure we're singing from the same hymn sheet, so to speak.

All you need to say is the truth of what's going on - I'm sure they get stuff like this all the time. They'll direct you to the right people.
