Revelation Act 4 - Review part 1
Date: 2011-04-10 02:24 pm (UTC)"To live without another's touch or else descend to this… madness of feeding and the long, slow death of our kind."
While reading this, I once again thought back on how I considered that perhaps Jethera is a banned Alteran. Maybe that line is something she made up so the Hive Second (not for much longer) would hopefully stop with his advances toward her?
Or it could be true, I suppose. But the one that made her do this must still be around under one form or another, if she to this day still lives like that. Perhaps not a Wraith then, but an Alteran? Though they are not allowed to interfere.
You’ve definitely given us things to ponder when creating Jethera.
As they sped now toward a meeting between the Five, where was the Hive's commander?
Oh, he’ll be coming back soon, don’t you worry. Or at least part of him is. :P
Carson let his suspicions speak a name hesitantly, "Teyla. You're talking about Teyla," he said.
The frown reappeared on Michael's face. "There is work to do," he snapped. "And little time for your idle speculations.”
Without a further word, he turned and left the holding cell, and Carson knew he was expected to follow… but did so with a lighter heart and maybe the hint of a smile on his face.
*Strong* comeback, Michael, strong comeback. ;-)
Loved Beckett’s smile there.
"You never gave me the chance," he hissed, and surprisingly gently, took her arm from the bars, and uncapping the cylinder, pressed it to her skin, against one of her engorged veins.
Is she addicted to morphine? Wouldn’t be too surprising, after what they put her through.
As the last of Todd's strength failed, he sank to his knees, still clasping the hilt of the Wraith commander's blade in trembling hands. He leaned his head against them and his breath came to him in sobbing gasps.
So happy Todd won, of course. And it’s even more awesome what he’s going to do next. *grin*
"Yes," he said, the menace in his voice spreading throughout the Hive. "We go to hunt my dear brother."
If I remember correctly, his Queen did not want to see the contents of the pods destroyed, so by going hunting how, he’s going up against her order? Not that she’s given a specific order not to go hunt Todd, but I’m taking it won’t be a nice visit?
Are they identical?

Date: 2011-05-23 09:33 am (UTC)You gotta know that Michael will always trying a give a strong comeback - but Beckett's smile - yes Carson knows what Teyla means to Michael... how could he not?
Y'tesha - if only it were so simple as a morphine addiction.
Todd and his brother are not identical, no.
Revelation Act 4 - Review part 2
Date: 2011-04-10 02:24 pm (UTC)He gave a moment to allow his words to sink in, before he raised a brow ridge, and cocked his head in query at the other Wraith. Slowly, the other reached out, and with a distaste that clearly matched his own, closed his fist around the former commander's sword hilt.
Jeez, not all at the same time. People (Wraith) are certainly forming a line to have command over that Hive, right?
But it’s good that the madness of its Queen will end soon.
"See to it that your predecessor's concubine is delivered aboard my Hive before I depart."
Uh oh… didn’t really see this one coming, but I guess she’s going to get hers, now? Is he going to do it himself, or is he going to let Alicia take revenge?
Let’s hope she doesn’t manage to worm her way in with the young Queen aboard Todd’s Hive. I’m not really concerned about that, but you never know.
"It will, of necessity, mean that there will be some small… change in plan, but," Michael swallowed, and she opened her eyes again to find him looking at her in deep, but concerned devotion. "Nothing we can't handle," he finished softly.
He’s kind of sweet, right? I hope there’s not too much of a setback in his plans, time he needed to spend elsewhere than with/on her. Whatever’s going on, I hope the outcome is a good thing, even her being able to conceive one way or another of Michael, if they so desire. I don’t know in which capacity I see that happening. More children like Nethaiye, sure, but does it have to go further than that? Warrior types, I mean… It would be painful to see them die, I think. o_0
She lay, unmoving as he went to his coat, and from his pocket took a syringe, already filled with a deep purple fluid.
I think I’m liking that purple, lol. Always that syringe near a Queen. *grin*
No Queen again from the union, right, just like Michael showed us?
"My loyalty lies with one that has come before."
{come before} {come before} {before} {before} {before}
"Whom you will serve."
{you will serve} {will serve} {serve} {serve} {serve}
That’s a rather interesting ending. Malcolm admits he serves another, and that she’d better do the same. Is she conscious enough to hear that?
I wonder what kind of trouble that is going to create.
In any case, I’m looking forward to more.
Spikey

Date: 2011-05-23 09:37 am (UTC)Hanna will get her just rewards in Convocation...
Hmm, Michael... kind of sweet - okay I'll go with that. I don't think what's going on in and of itself will upset Michael's plans too much, but the fall out might make things more difficult.
Indeed no queen from the union - honestly, if you were Malcolm, would /you/ want that?
Whether of not the Queen was conscious enough to hear Malcolm's warning is a kind of moot point... but I'm sure there will be trouble along the way.
