Disturbing, wonderful and - did I mention disturbing? - full of big bad green. This reader is very happy indeed.

Looking forward to so much more. *grins*

You did mention disturbing yes... and big and bad and green is definitely the in thing... Glad that you're happy. Got plenty of that scene we talked of written while getting burned to a crisp.

More will come...

The only reason I didn't post them on fanfiction.net before was... well actually there were two. a) I wanted my own site, and b)it was a ratings thing. Most people that post anything more than "fade to black" are, in my opinion, breaking the agreement we have to make on a monthly basis, which probably means the vast majority of people on the site, especially those with an M rating. LOL but... by the same token since they all are, why shouldn't I too. *grin* So it's getting posted there as well.

I'd love to give you a thoughtful and detailed review on the latest installment, but I'm afraid I'm still trying to comprehend what I just read.

So in short, I'll just say thank you for the entertainment and I'm proud to see you're still working on the project.

Good work as always!

I do apologise for all the science stuff... if it's any consollation, it's as hard writing it as I imagine it is to read...

I promise you there's not quite so much overt science in the other 4 acts.

Thanks, and I hope you'll keep reading

Wonderful, wonderful; and a great change of pace. Although, poor michael, he's still being abused. As for Todd--he's exquisitely complicated, devious, ambivalent, etc. etc.

Wraith have no need to dream--a great, great line!

As for 'Jeniffer'. Oh, dear, dear... She trembles and twitters a bit too much around that darn Wraith.

I love it. As always.

Change of pace, hmmm, aint seen /nothing/ yet. LOL Seriously though, I'm glad you think so. And yes, poor Michael, still being abused and beaten...

Todd - you're absolutely right my dear, all those things and more.

Sometimes, every once in a while you come up with something that is a great line, and you just love it... that is one of my favourites too.

Jennifer? why for you put it in 'quotes' :) Just you wait and see where all her twittering takes her. LOL

Glad you're enjoying. Keep reading...

Only 5 pages this time. Still good for stretching an Icon or three, don't you think so? :P

---

she felt him press something small and hard into her left hand and close her fingers over it.

Dunno if I commented on that the last time, but it’s a good thing you wrote ‘small’ in there… Gutter.

"Some of the data is… sensitive," he explained, "and simply cannot be removed from the Hive."

Would that be his Alicia? Lol. Or part of her…

**

"If you had been anywhere near the planet," the whisper continued, forced and sounding painful, "you would, in no way, casually suggest—"

Lol. Perhaps, had Todd been near the planet, Todd wouldn’t be suggesting anything anymore. Michael and his booby-traps…

*Remembers what Eiri told me* Awe @ Todd trying his best to have Michael tell him without him having to go.

Are we going to see something from Michael’s pov again soon? Just to see what his mental condition is like at the moment? He was about to give up when he thought Teyla’d been captured….

**

"If there is something you need – something that I can… provide – you have only to ask for it, and I—"

Gutter…

**

"Just tell me that you and Rodney are going to take care of me up there," she asked softly.

"It's Todd. You'll be fine," he told her.

*Zips it* :D

**

"…all those centuries ago… when you took the Humans of this galaxy to experiment on… Did you use your own DNA then as well?"

Hmm, of course Michael can’t say ‘yes’ to that one, because that’s admitting that that little device he built can easily take out not only himself, but his hybrids, and Teyla as well. Not that he still believes she’s alive, but still…

Is Michael crying for Teyla?

Hmm, are we almost done with the Michael torture? I have a feeling stuff is going to be a bit worse before it’s going to get better. :(

Poor Michael is going to have sooooooooooooooooo many new nightmares when this stuff is over. Poor boy. Teyla had better hold him during the night, always. He could use the feeling of safety and non-aloneness…

**

"What is it that you need me to do?" she whispered, hiding behind the practicality of their situation, but he was not to be distracted.

Woohoow! That part is new!

Come on, boy, pull her *in* already. *g*

Oh, and good that the Queen didn’t get to see that part anymore. Or did she? Though it might be the difference between a warning, and death. So I’m guessing ‘no’.

Stupid computer, didn't copy... so now I have to type all that again...

Yes the sensitive stuff could be to do with Alicia...

We do see stuff from Michael's POV soon, but nothing too deep as that's being saved for NWB.

Yeah, Michael was crying for Teyla, how sweet is that...? and yes, the torture will get worse before it gets better.

But I'm sure Teyla can solve his nightmares.

There are some few new parts in there yes.

So Todd has placed Alicia among the Worshippers after all. Is she there with her standard ‘I serve the Queen’ outfit? Or does she have extra sets of clothes? I mean, of course she would stand out there, and she’s summoned immediately to the Queen, so she has no time to get changed…

… it had been obvious to him at once that no such connection existed between them.

Just you wait! I’m curious to what he’s going to see soon. *g*

Like the Wraith of the Hive, she too was being affected by the Queen's condition. He could sense it, feel it, smell it on her like a beacon.

Or, it’s UST from Todd. Hah!

When the time came, it would be the Hive Second that would reward such an action.

Huh? You lost me there. With the meaning of the sentence, the ‘reward an action’ part. Is that bad? So is the Second thinking of making Todd pay, eventually? I hope not, because he seems to be smarter than the Hive Commander, or not ‘smarter’, but he doesn’t immediately jump to things he knows nothing about, but observes, understands, and shuts up. Besides, if Todd thought he had ill in mind, he would never tell Alicia to go there when in trouble.

*Gets the final update*

Okay, the boy is smarter than the first Commander, me thinks. Way older, too. Very different. Keeps a low profile kinda guy?

**

*Reads that poor Alicia is going in heat too*

Where is Todd when you need him. Oh boy… That’s not gonna end well. Let’s hope Todd will come to the rescue before anything too dramatic happens. Or perhaps the Second will…

Did he know she was this affected by the Queen, too? Or is it herself doing it, wanting Todd but not daring to go for it?

I wonder if Teyla is having funny feelings, too… Her Wraith genes got that upgrade, but how is her cycle now? The normal human one, or like that of a Queen? Or a combination…?

**

"I understand your suspicions, Doctor McKay," Todd continued softly, "and in your place would share them."

A very brief comment on this one: *g*.

Can we assume that the bit of that drug that’s still somewhat left in Sheppard’s system is slowing the virus down? Because we have no idea for how many days he’s been infected now, and he’s still not at Lorne’s ‘hearing Mikey’ stage…

**

Hmm, has the Young Queen matured so much because she suddenly had non-sterile/-impotent boys around her, or what? Lol.

Oh my, who’s going to do the honours?

It can’t be Todd, he’s in loooooove…

Kenny? We can’t have Kenny getting some before Todd and Michael… Besides, he’s only the Second.

It would be very inappropriate for Todd to shove the problem on Kenny like that. Not that he wouldn’t, it’s just not nice. Though perhaps it’s good to immediately tell her what it’s going to be like: him and Alicia, and her with, er, everybody else? Lol. Then again he wouldn’t just tell her he has a potential mate sitting somewhere, he has no guarantee that Alicia will be alive in a year or so, so best not to blow up that bridge already… He did mention he was going to train her himself, lol.

I hope it’s not going to be Todd doing he ‘honours’, but I guess there’s a large chance of him having to make a sacrifice. But I’d rather not see him having some problems with not being able to go further with Alicia until she says it’s okay, then getting off somewhere else, and crawl back into bed with Alicia, if you get what I mean. We’ll see. Perhaps that’s where another new character comes in?

Wait! Wasn’t Kenny sterile? He’s a sub-commander, right? Or which one was it now. Sub or Second?

*g*

Oh, by the way… When Todd returns to the Elder Hive, and he still says ‘no’ to Alicia, claiming she doesn’t ‘really’ want to yet, I was thinking that perhaps she should just tell him that she’ll go to the Queen and say to her he’s impotent or something.

I thought that *before* you had an impotent one on the show, just so you know.

Trying to blackmail a Wraith should be a fun thing to see… I mean, the snarl that’ll follow from it… And the non-existing eyebrow raise.

No Todd didn't place her among the worshippers, just that there were a few more worshippers around.

She wears her Handmaiden outfit.

The Hive Second sees far more than anyone knows.

Nope, Todd has nothing to do with the feelings on the Hive, that's because the Queen is in heat.

Yeah, the Hive Second is older, smarter and quieter... but he'll come into his own.

Like I said, everyone on the Hive with the capacity to be so, is affected by the EQ's pheromones.

You definitely seem to be leaning toward the Second coming to Alicia's /rescue/.

Makes you wonder, with Sheppy not being so affected, a little bit about that retrovirus, doesn't it?

Todd is not on Loooove... and since he's the Commander of the Hive where the young Queen has been taken, if/when she matures it will be down to him to service the QUeen.

Kenny is way too shiney to do it. (but no, he's not sterile)

He had seen behaviour more befitting of a Queen in the Humans of his acquaintance,

Who would that be? The ‘acquaintance’? Is that a reference to the EQ and her worshippers, or to Sheppard, and then perhaps to Teyla?

**

LOL @ Keller not wanting to sit on the bed when Todd is in the room, or at least she jumps up from it when he enters.

**

Interesting development, with the Hive Second. So he's someone who's recruiting people to go back to the old ways? What'll happen with all the other Wraith? They can go on killing each other and the small group of old Wraith stick to themselves in their own created paradise?

If the Second is doing it for his old Matriarch, kinda the mother of all Wraith, if I understand it correctly, or let's say the Mother of the Four, then she's still alive? If not, perhaps the mission is a bit redundant?

So, he passes between Elder Hives from time to time? Or am I getting that wrong? To get to know the Queens, and to seek out these differently thinking individuals? It would be interesting to see him approach Todd. I mean, it's not evident he'll seek out Michael, perhaps, since Michael's mind is set on something very different now. Their entire destruction. Unless that's going to change? But no, I still don't see him explaining to Teyla he's only going to destroy the ones that won't go back to the old w/days, and let the rest live in their separate location. And then it would be the intention of him joining them at a certain point, right? Not going to happen.

But I do perhaps think I know whom Michael is getting his help from. *g*

**

"A visual representation of DNA belonging to a Human woman, suffering the systemic failure associated with exposure to the Hoffan Protein, whom I was able to… save," he told her.

Ah, but do they know whom the blood is from, after all, AU!Todd had Alicia with him, or do they have no suspicion toward that at all?

"Wait," she said and pulled back her arm as he applied pressure to a place on her forearm. He looked up at her quizzically. She asked, "You have done this before, right?"

Lol, doctors are indeed the worst patients!

"Perhaps it would be beneficial if we were both to rest," he said, his voice light.

Aka: Keller, get out of the room so I can see if you and Alicia share something funky? :D

**

Hmm, what is Varny up to now? I don’t think he particularly cares about the people of the galaxy, and about the conflict, he’s just fishing if she’s left for Mikey’s yet… Since they don’t know he’s been captured.

**

the light scrape of his nails against the side of her neck as he used his other hand to sweep her hair aside, baring her neck.

Count Dracula has found his next victim, muahahaha.

*Finishes the beta*

Now, where’s my Wraith to rub my neck? Or rather my legs hurt a bit. Shall I drop my- Bed time.

Spikey

Just any of them really that behave more like a queen than the queen.

I don't know that the Hive Second is recruiting people to go back to the 'old ways' but he's certainly up to something, and is a lot older than he looks.

The Hive Second moves around, yes, but he's been with this Hive for a long time because the Queen is barking!

Keller has no idea the DNA Todd showed her was Alicia's no.

Yes, Doctors are a pain in the ass.

Varnerin? Oh, stirring trouble as usual.

I keep forgetting to leave a comment! **is bad** I had a Todd/Alicia dream that reminded me that I still needed to do that. BTW, it was a great dream--one which I refused to wake up from and thus ended up late to work. And I'm happy to see the next act was posted. **grins**

Towards the Todd/Jennifer-ness: I kept thinking: nooooo, I don't want to ship them! Please, don't make me ship them. I love Todd/Alicia! So I'm keeping my fingers cross that the ending was all a dream or something like Keller's imagination running in over time.

And oh, it sounds like we get some Teyla-ness coming up. I've been missing her and been hoping for some Teyla/Michael-ness.

Hmm, I know there is more to comment, and if I remember them I will come back tonight, but I'm on a short schedule and have to hurry to print off the next act and get to work on time.

I'm happy to see that you are dreaming about Todd and Vega.

No one is shipping Todd and Jennifer, well... not exactly anyway. While a lot of people won't like it, I keep reminding them Todd is Wraith - and something he's found leads him to want to discover the truth of his findings. Keller is the result. Just bear with it...

Michael/Teylaness will have to wait for another story, this is all Toddness.
