... aside from being convinced that they were not going to call, because they were ten minutes late calling... we were all ready and sitting cross legged on the bed which was strewn with lots of bits of paper which we then didn't use.

It went very well, and we managed to come out of it sounding very knowledgeable and confident apparently, in spite of being scared shitless.

The director of the place is going to let us know by the end of the week, after she has, in her words, 'sat and worked out where you might fit in to all the people moving up.'

I'm hopeful. Though the visa situation remains a bit of a sticky issue.

I'm now exhausted and emotional.

That between all the baskets made in your favor, all the offerings made to the cat (god of the home), and whispers of "I do believe in elves, I do, I do, I do..." AND all of what you've said... It's probably a good bet that good will come of this. Most of your worry will unfortunately come from the one thing you /don't/ want to worry about.. The Visa. We will not, however give anything away, those of us that know what the outcome is. Gamman rules and all that. You're close to knowing, waiting can be half the fun. In the end it gets up your spirits and increases your determination no matter what the outcome.
