Things have been kinda quiet I've noticed all over most of the writing communities, probably the time of year and everything, so I'm posting an ad here for a cool little community that I'm involved with. It's a lot of fun, and we're always open to new members. The community is the stargate_blog

The community was formed for Stargate fans who like to write blog-style entries in character. Challenges are posted weekly, and members respond as their character. Characters may also respond or comment on events in timelines other than their own. It is sometimes interesting and certainly welcome as well!

If you'd like to join this community, please check the character list below and decide on a character you'd like to play. The ones listed in captial letters are open. Then create a journal for that character and apply at the community under that ID. The full rules about posting are on the community profile, but this really is the most of it. Open characters are as follows:

Is this only open to SG1 and SGA characters?

At present, yes. There are no plans to include characters from SG:U

A while ago you asked if the Stargate blog was only open to characters from SG1 and SGA. At the time the answer was yes. Now however, following a ballot of members, we will be opening to SGU characters as of February 1st.
