Nov. 29th, 2009 10:54 pmWell no, actually it's very good, but I've spent almost the entire weekend downloading sample books. Seriously, if you haven't discovered it yet, you should. Just go to Amazon, and click on the Kindle link. Download the Kindle for PC, and then get downloading the free samples. Never /ever/ buy a book you don't like again!
The only think I've found annoying so far is that due to copyright issues sometimes in the UK you can't get certain books... but... I guess that's something I can live with for now.

Date: 2009-12-02 10:20 pm (UTC)I don't want the handheld reader, even though it does read out loud, I think... But I /do/ like being able to sample the books before I get them. When you're trying to expand beyond what you typically read, it's not a bad thing. And I'm online all the time anyway, so why not read while I wait for stuff. :)
