Yay! It's up!

---

Awe! The team misses Teyla's calming influence. Well, should have thought about that sooner.

his decryption program, hastily written, had managed to decipher only the first three symbols

Does that mean that he had the first three chevrons that lead to Atlantis already? I mean, shouldn’t he already have suspected where it went? It’s not as if addresses mostly have 5 the same symbols, one different one, and then the point of origin. So three chevrons might have already indicated for Rodney where in space they were travelling towards… No?

A decayed and submerged Atlantis must be something spooky to walk around in. Brrr.

"You got it," Sheppard said, and patted him reassuringly on the chest.

Just so you know, McKay has ‘moobs’. Or that I read somewhere. :P

Awe, Nethaiye sounds so very cute, in a strange way… Lol.

*Hates the writers for having done NOTHING with that baby at all then just having had it stay home with babysit-daddy who didn’t appear on stage either*

Not that I wanted that. But, ya know, URGH.

LOL @ Nethaiye calling Sheppard ‘John’. His mother does that, too, yet Michael doesn’t.

All the other things he says, especially the thing where they should better not mention Teyla when he's in the room, sounds exactly like Michael. Poor kid.

And as I continue reading, I'm wondering just how much he did get to know his mother, as he calls Ronon and John by first name, sometimes, just like she does. I mean, she switches between John and Colonel Sheppard, too…

You already made me guess that Jennifer Keller and Nethaiye were together, so there it is. Lol @ Rodney and Ronon not getting over that part.

Hmm, of course Michael shows up when you’re trying to ‘talk’ to Nethaiye about the guys… And ouch, Michael is having one of his ‘slap’ moments again… :(

The gold of his eyes skewered him to the spot, and even without saying the words out aloud, Sheppard understood the choice that Michael laid before him.

Er, would that be ‘take my retrovirus yourself’, or ‘die’?

Oh boy…

Can’t say much more for this act, I’ll wait to see where it’s all going.

I wonder though, if after Todd and Alicia show up, Sheppard will ask Todd in the real AU if Alicia is with him, too… :D

Although, when Keller voices her inner doubts, she says that Atlantis has been in hands of Michael for 3 years already, and so Todd and Alicia should have met differently, probably, because Search And Rescue didn’t happen? Though technically Alicia was new to Atlantis… Urgh. You tell me. :P

Also, 3 years before they were around Vengeance? Or not even there? Are we going to get to know more about how this Michael got his power in the first place?

Of course the team misses Teyla...

But see... the Gate didn't exactly go to Atlantis, now did it... so maybe something was slightly off... in any case, Rodney wasn't sure, and by the time Shep was calling him to tell him to dial, he was thrown into a panic.

Right... good for Rodney. LOL

Nethaiye, cute in a strange way? Okay. If you say so. *grin* Let's just say he's kind of confused, it's best left at that I think.

Whether or not Nethaiye knew his mother is a very good question. He certainly doesn't seem very warm toward her does he?

Yep, Jen is with Nethaiye...

Yes, Michael has this habit of showing up right when you don't want him too... he's strong too.

Sheppard's choice - could be that yeah, either way it's a bad one...

Yes, it's been a while, but that doesn't necessarily mean this was all started 3 years ago - how do you know they didn't jump time as well as universe... but we will see more about Michael's story, yes...

Nethaiye is kind of confused because there's no 'definitely hate her' vibe from Michael, or what? Meaning, he's not directly out to kill her, even though she opposes them?

So, is Nethaiye so disliking of her because of what she did that's described in Act 2? Hmm, does that mean that the clone of Nethaiye was already there, in Atlantis? I don't think so, right? I mean, he wasn't in the scene. Did Michael tell him, or show him? Perhaps he was with him him at the time, though, waiting... :)

*Pats strong Mikey* Teyla'll help fix up the other one again. Poor boy.

Sheppard did make a choice, lol. So did Michael. :P

Well, they did both, right? Question is, had our Teyla been there, would she suffer from that 'you can't be in one place twice' thing? Because that's only with AUs where you're the same as yourself, right? I mean, when no time travel is involved? Though I don't think we've ever mixed up the two on telly yet. Not often, either way.

No, Michael's not particularly out to kill Teyla, Nethaiye has just taken it on himself to hate his mother.

He was on the cruiser with Michael, so he knew what happened.

*chuckles* Oh, she'll definitely help, yes.

I tried to make sure that I didn't have to deal with that paradox - that's why it's only McKay, Ronon and Sheppard that came to the AU. I have enough weird science to deal with without having to figure that one out as well.

Silly boy... And that for teaching Michael how to swim... Pfft. :P

*Help*, yes. Not that he'll listen to her after they're done getting cozy together, lol. He'll just go on with his agenda.

Hmm, Weird Science, I remember that show.

It's easy to guess, think about what they had Michael chose between... It's along those lines. :P

Eiri, I just saw that you put up the title of 'Letting Go' in the title bar on your website, where it should say 'Beyond The Third'.

Late in reviewing, especially bad since it's going to be one, resounding, booming, enthusiastic and howling (running out of words...)

BRILLIANT!!!!!!

This is the best twist in a long list of awesome twists so far. WOW!

Thank you, it's not the number of words that matter but the sentiment. :)

I can't help but wonder what you'll make of the twists in Act 2. *evil grin*
