A while back, I was nominated for the 2008 Isis Awards for pairings in Stargate fanfiction that don't necessarily get as much attention as others. I was nominated for the story Harm's Way in the Drama/Angst category for the Teyla and Michael 'ship.' I just found out today that I came in first place. :)

I want to thank those of you that voted for the story. So... Thank you, everyone. :) I'm really touched. :)

I'm looking at the winning list as we speak! I'm so happy that next to you Sasusc and Wraithsinger also won! And NotMichael got some appreciation too, because I don't think they get too much replies on their short stories, which is a bummer. At least they're not forgotten. And Sax Rohmer #2 also is in there, so yay! I'm totally having a 'go me' moment, lol!

Yaaaaaaaaay! The Distant Journey also made it first place! Gypsy_morph had only 2 other stories to compete with, but it was simply the best, muahahaha.

Bummer that Alauralen's story didn't make it in, I'm still wondering why. It would be nice if she managed to finish her story by next year so it can be nominated on its own then.

Ah, and the Human!Queen!Teyla story with John in it, and Michael to watch over her, didn't get a price. Ah well. Not everybody can win.

Grats again, and just keep on writing many different kind of things so we can have you win many categories next year! :DDDDDDD
