Spoilers:Spoilers for S1-4, (especially any of Michael's episodes), and some episodes from the beginning of the official season 5, (specifically Search & Rescue, and The Seed).
Summary: Atlantis' new member of staff proves to be an unwelcome interference in verifying disturbing Intel on the Wraith. Sheppard's regular contact, kept too busy by his Queen, is of no use and, already frayed, tempers reach boiling point. Teyla participates in a potentially deadly meditation to unlock her memory. Will she discover the truth is a key to freedom – and will she still hear a desperate cry for help?

Vega - Hanna - Queen

Is Hanna much older than Alicia? And I think Alicia is just in her early 20's?

"You didn't," Merihanna said, turning her head up to see Vega, "When he sent you back."

Is that the spying already? Wondering why she did not cry when coming back from Todd's?

Maybe the Queen is suspicious, after all, because she did not sense anything… Or because Vega's skin was not pierced, which I presume can't happen because he would get infected blood in his mouth? Or did he just want to be careful with her?

LOL @ Vega not wanting to have to do anything with Todd anymore. Like that'll happen. Todd >>> Hanna. :P

What did the Queen think when seeing Vega's chest with the imprint from feeding? That Todd tried to, or what? And isn't she missing a sub-commander? Unless Todd made them think he was the victim of an infected human in their supply chamber, and had him dumped on the pile of bodies from those kind of accidents.

Hanna and Vega have to braid the Queen's long hair, right? But does that mean that everytime she bathes, the braids and bones have to be taken out, and after the bath, put back into it again? :S And she washes her hair how many times a week? :S

"… my Hive Commander perhaps, as your desires suggest!"

Uh? Is that because Vega maybe liked Todd's one finger-guard scratching lightly over her skin? It's not like you want to go from an easy Wraith, who doesn't want to outright hurt you, to one with probably five of those finger-guards, and who will probably count the holes in your body as a sign of victory, as you leave his quarters… :S

Yes, go admire the probably HUGE Dart Bay… That'll help. Not. *Hug* Poor girl could lose it with a few wrong pushes. Go to Todd and let him hug you, girl.

It would be justly deserved, he thought, for the hybrid's interference in… other matters.

Awe, Todd and his word. He’s a sweetie, really.

Poor him, having failed yet again. Ah well, on to beating up Michael, then.

Awe! Todd, that absolute darling, came looking for her! *squeeee*

So, you said that Michael had nothing to do with getting Vega sent to the Hive Commander, right? Well, he does nicely put the suggestion in her mind… You sure? :P

He's gonna settle things, woohoow! What a man! *Knows already what's coming, so *squees* some more… ^_^

Awe! Todd calls her 'concubine'. He makes it sound so special, lol, while the other Commander just uses 'plaything'…

To have Todd's arm across your belly, and have him rub his thumb against your neck… Thud.

Todd let out a long, low growl as he stared the Hive Commander down

Seeeeeeexy! He'd better be getting a big reward for, that in the (near) future! People and their showing of gratitude… *g*

Of course, going on a staring match with the Commander in his own territory won't be good for Todd's reputation. I sure hope that won't have any direct nasty consequences.

"Come, my dear, I grow weary of this,"

*Slides to the floor* 'My dear', in *public*! Oh, he's gonna get into trouble for that!

Vega: Ola, Tiger, I'm not there quite yet.

The Queen has one less Sub-Commander, but yeah, the assumption is that he died from 'food poisoning'

She washes it often... braiding it is a full time occupation.

Because the Queen saw it in Vega's mind, as was the intention for her to do.

The boys don't play together well at all, and as far as I can tell it's just going to get worse.

Oh man, I hope Alicia will quickly see through Hanna's game, like Sheppard did, and then when next she asks her about coming back from Todd, she can talk a lot of dirty stuff to her, like she did her job and enjoyed it very much. Let her tell that to her precious little Commander... Yup, gutter time again.

Todd's attraction, or whatever, company, beats Hanna and her Commander, or something like that. I don't quite remember. Well, Todd does indeed surely pwn Hanna.

So, when the Queen wants to bathe yet again, they first have to untie all the elastics, or whatever, the knuckle has to safely be put aside, then the braids have to go... And she looks like a gigantic poodle?

Can I have a picture of that? *g*

Todd had better put Vega on the right track again.

Michael/Teyla

For a time he was stiff, immobile, as though uncertain, then he laid one hand across her shoulders and held her to him, somewhat awkwardly.

Aw! He's as good at giving hugs as Sheppard is! At least she has experience with that type of men! *g*

'Kanaan's fall' makes it sound soooo special. Lol. Like a footnote in history.

The thing Michael is saying with the Cruisers and that subspace transmission, should that ring a bell, lol. I'm as usually drawing a blank.

Poor Teyla, having to go through that what Michael put her through. She's gonna be handing out some slaps… Now she knows what he did, so she doesn't have to panic at the memory anymore, but still. Not a very positive one. He was right to immediately ask her for her forgiveness, since it's definitely a point that'll come up in a future convo. Poor Mikey, too.

My silly memory… Is that perhaps the place he likes so much, the one he showed Teyla and she was trying to hurt him, but couldn't fully?

Gah. Is it supposed to tie in with that moment when Shep and co were on that one planet where Michael left the girl's blood in the second Puddle Jumper? And that's not the same planet as were Halling was following the breadcrumps to? Or was it? Hmm, I do remember Michael being all 'oh, they're here as well'. And then there was a fight with the Hybrids? Oh great, I'm in for a history lesson, lol.

What choice would she give him? It’s not like he can go back now. The termination of the Wraith is something they all desire, hybrids and humans, but unless he has a Hoffan drug that’s 100% safe for humans, it won’t do them any good.

Poor thing… It’s not like, in a situation such as this one, you can take pen and paper and write down the pro’s and con’s of every party and then decide which one to join. Lol. If she were to add the Wraith to the list, perhaps they would win. Their mostly only sin is to eat humans for their survival, and then there’s the thing about keeping populations in check by shooting them when they get too smart…


Michael/The Queen

The Queen had a 'rapid fulfilment' at Michael's hand? Lol. So, back to those 5 minutes? Boy, the boy needs to learn a lot, still. I just hope we'll be looking in on a lot of it, lol! Might give us a good laugh, or something… :P

What an *odd* thing to remind him of, at a time like that… Silly girl. She doesn't get it, does she?

She will send a handmaiden to *tend* to him… Must she really rub it in that it can't be more than that? The boy is practically dead on his feet, lol.


Vega - Michael

Are those some *good* tips for Vega, or is he trying to get the Hive Commander killed, by trying to get Vega to go see him. ^_^

Some kind of warning trickled along her spine and in a sudden rush of awareness she realised what he was trying to do.

Could be the late hour, but what was he trying to do? He did something alike with Teyla in 'Michael', but it's not like Vega can release him from his cell?

The baby is at the facility in the nebula, yes. Strange colours in the sky... that's the view. The Queen knows nothing about it... it's one of the things he's trained himself not to ever think on unless he's actually talking about something. Safety first. He's very good at hiding his facilities.

I had that problem when it came to the flashbacks in Act 4

Michael will get better at it. After all, he's someday gonna need a lot of it, or so it seems perhaps from what I think now, and with an example it's easier enough to give, too. Even if she has to put his arms around her, herself. *g*

Same for Todd. Perhaps he's gonna love snuggling up, having a warm back or chest. Thud. Why do I picture those two asleep on his cot, and the Queen standing above them, looking in on them, on how she's changing her little scientist? :S

Ah. Does the place have a Stargate? Good thing he's so smart. Perhaps Teyla will slap herself once she knows that's where his most valued facility is. Oh wow, she can't absolutely not go there until Michael is there again, to protect the location/Teyla from the Queen... If she were to go there without him protecting her, the Queen would immediately find her. :S Right?

So, does Michael think the view is as beautiful from on the planet, as in the sky?

Oh wow, Woolsey explicitly states he doesn’t care about the humans in the PG? That he thinks he doesn’t have to evacuate people to outrun the Wraith because that means that they will not be fed upon, and he’s trying to hit a Queen? Ouch. Like John says, it’s not gonna happen.

That’s an odd conclusion to come to, after all that wondering about Michael… Well, guess she’ll know soon where she stands with Atlantis, then. Poor girl. Stupid Varnerin.

Lol @ Teyla's excellent dialling timing. Sheppard so needed to get out of there, if he would even prefer to sit in a room with 12 Wraith Queens in it. And I'm gonna picture that couch thing with shackles included? Ew. Lol.

Good to see she'll be slapping multiple boys. *g* She can even say to Michael that she slapped Sheppard too, he might even smile when hearing that. :P

John says to Teyla that what she said was an insult to everything that she ever stood for, but she's not the only one who's changing… It's difficult to recognize Atlantis too, these days.

Teyla, I somewhat appreciate you trying to do that, to try to get him to feel it, but he's not going to be shedding any tears over it, and crawl back to Michael and ask for his forgiveness… You're only estranging yourself further from what you know…

And yup, you're done with Atlantis. Time to move on. Back home, and to Michael when he needs you, wants you to go to him… To where you belong, for a part.

I read this more as 'humans were always so predictable', so him saying that it's a different species than the one he belongs to, lol. He certainly doesn't show any sign of a soul, so…

Very soon he would know the truth of Teyla Emmagan.

Well, I wouldn't call it 'the truth' either, I mean… It's not like a rapport that says Teyla is a hybrid from birth is going to say 'she's a very compassionate person, very honest, strong, patient, and silent', etc. DNA does not equal character. But he might judge her by that.

Well, I don't see Teyla staying in Atlantis for long either way, so whatever he reads in there, it's not going to do him much 'good'.

Yeah, I get Teyla's frustrated because they don't listen to her, but in how far is Michael going to? I mean, it's not like he's gonna turn into Teyla's boy when they're together, right? He's on a mission, and Teyla will have to dance very carefully to put things somewhat different so that she can limit the amount of damage he does. And he can't know what she's doing. So she has to keep part of her mind out of his control, or something, too?

Powerful and intricate, feelings, emotions and actions woven together. I was riveted by it. I don't even know where to begin. Again, very tactile and sensual, with great delicacy and finesse.

I loved the fight scene between Tey'la and the Wraith Commander. She is transformed and to me, as Sheppard says, she is blinded. She is very confused.

I also like how you take the SGA characters and do make them your own, like Wolsley.

I read this--first for the action and to get me settled down; then for the rich detail.

In a lot of ways ITF has been the most difficult to write to date... mostly because of the intricacies of weaving everything together. It's nice to know I managed it.

The fight between our dear Teyla and the Wraith Commander shows just how far she has come... as you say, how she is transformed. Yes, she's a little blinded, and a little lost... I think the confusion is there too, but I do think a lot of that comes from other people around her.

The way I write Woolsey, anyone would think I didn't like him or something. *evil grin* I do believe in developing people, and for my taste, he was a little too 'EMH' from Voyager to me - on the show I mean. So I took the character and ran with it.
