If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

I cheated on this last one, because I love the sequence of the conversation. It's more then one sentence.
“Then we’ve got to travel to the Middle East, find Ur, sneak in past some maniac that’s got your kids, convince the Nephilim and Grigori that they’re being used by an evil man to do evil work. Then we have to get them to come with us to Egypt, where we open the Sphinx chamber, get down inside there and free Shemyaza’s spirit to return to his body.”
“In a nutshell.” Bethany confirmed.
“Oh well then.” Martin snapped sarcastically, “No problem. Let’s go!” - Nemesis - Original Horror

Glad to see you're home. I worked on the 'previously on' section, blue'ing the things that were blue in Act 4 again, and will put them in a Word file soon.
I've been a very nice girl today. Already worked for my red on GW... Lol.

Date: 2008-12-02 05:40 pm (UTC)Oh man... It was on the games page. See, we're only allowed to vote once each day, so one post per thread. There was someone who had put up two posts in multiple threads. Like 4? On one thread she got called on it by a friend, and on two other threads, I said that I was ignoring the previous vote, hers, because it was a second post, and that they'd better read the rules. Well, she couldn't appreciate that. Now, when she was in that fourth thread, and had actually taken a point from a line/scene description with the message 'I don't like it' next to it, I went all 'argh' because that's not what the thread was for, so yeah... I left a message on that board again. She felt fixated by a bully, redded me, reported me, sent me messages that she was on the verge of crying, etc... Geesh. :P

Date: 2008-12-02 06:23 pm (UTC)I dropped her a note on her profile again, saying that she's welcome in the games, explained the rules in short, and that new blood and more scenes are welcome in the threads.
Also said to her that if she reds people, she should expect red back. Said that many people don't like the redding system, so if she's one of those she shouldn't spread it out either. If you give red, you're almost 100% sure of getting one back. She needs to get that.
