Well, then, let's begin. :P

Part 1

Ronon and Sam

"You might want to try using those things when the Darts are a little further away next time."

He was teasing, and it was good natured.

--- and ---

When she could turn her head, she saw Ronon lying on his back, his arm still outstretched, clutching his blaster, breathing hard.

"You all right?" he asked,...

Very nice bonding moments between Ronon and Sam in this story! Bummer it's not going to do them much good, since Woolsey's coming into town, soon. :(

***

Michael and his experiments

"No matter… you and the others will soon understand that there is nothing you can do to prevent the inevitable. That which has been set in motion; that will be completed when the child is born—"

Oh boy...

I'm very much looking forward to what you think Michael would do with that DNA. The only thing I could think of is that he wants an even tighter control on his Hybrids, like Kanaan demonstrated: Michael is having problems keeping the tougher ones under his control? (Should just get rid of Kanaan then, lol!) Maybe his mind will reach much further when *he* has that extra bit of DNA, or maybe the Hybrids will be able to hear him much better? (Then that '10,000 light years to reach your mind' would make sense!)

The upgrade was for the Hybrids, I think he stated in 'The Kindred II'?

***

Teyla and Teyla/Michael

Greater even that that was the gnawing doubts growing inside of her that left her feeling vulnerable and lonely; needing of a moment's warmth.

Yoohoo, Mikey, where are you? :P

Your woman needs you, you silly boy, go hug her! :D

Teyla closed her eyes in a long, slow blink as he unmasked himself to her and the touch of his mind in hers, reaching for her to calm the disquiet that gripped her as surely as Vega's touch on her arm, became a strength for her.

Is she somewhat losing herself in Michael and the mind bond? I guess it must be very addicting for her, it would be so easily to turn into his arms and seek his comfort, even if he's the one killing all those people. Heck, that doesn't even seem to register any more. No wonder she's not around Rodney when he's awake?

If she had been more careful, if she had listened to Sam instead of chasing half remembered dreams that she knew now to be a lie she—

Are those the same dreams she had in 'The Kindred I'?

The pain was only fleeting - a burning heat that began somewhere in her chest as the rhythm of her heart faltered.

Hmm, Kanaan shoots Teyla... I wonder if Michael ordered Kanaan to do that? Like he said, they didn't have time for an argument. But Teyla would probably have picked that up? And of course potentially hurting Teyla isn't something that Michael wants to do. Plus he was angry about it. It did one good thing though. She was slightly turning on him again, and by Kanaan's action, she immediately found him again...

Is Kanaan dead, btw?

"...Michael, h—"

-old me now, touch me now...

Great, Johnny Logan... :P

The ship tilted suddenly, violently.

The universe is just against them... Grrr. :P

Pain, sudden, deep and penetrating tightened the ache from her back like a vice around her middle. It was brief, fleeting, but unmistakable.

For a moment there I thought she felt one with the ship, lol. Then I remembered she was pregnant. Not so good right now: the baby is coming.

And so nice of him to make her sleep for the trip.

Part 2

Miss Vega

"No… please…!" Vega backed away from the doors that spiralled open as Michael operated the control. "Teyla, help me, please!"

She breaks quickly when faced with danger, doesn't she? In the 'real' season 5 she's going to basically scream that she wants to go out and so something, already. Guess this isn't what she had in mind? :P

She searched for any trace of the characteristic features of the hybrids, and finding none let out a long, slow breath that came out as a dangerous hiss, before she ran her fingertips over the unblemished face of the young human woman.

Ouch! Getting captured by the Wraith. The question is: is she going to be Wraith food, or is she turning into a Hybrid herself? Any way, I definitely wouldn't want to be in a Hive with *her* in it.

***

Major Lorne

I'm curious as to what's going to happen to him now. It's not like he's going to be a zombie like person walking around in Atlantis, right? I mean, he's got his own mind as long as he's not near Michael (remembers the 10,000 light years bit, oh boy). Maybe Woolsey will have him frozen? :S

***

Radek Zelenka

"Right, I—" Zelenka pointed ahead of himself before he hurried off the bridge.

*Luff*

***

Rodney

"It's McKay," Sam went on urgently, "Lower the shield!"

Yay! He made it! Maybe losing Rodney in the first episode would be too big a loss for Atlantis. Still have an entire season left for that! *g*

***

Todd

It had taken many years to perfect the technology they were about to use, and he was insistent that it would be he that would strike the killing blow… not the least of it to get the undeniably beautiful, but equally as demanding and deadly Queen off his back.

Very nice new weapon that could do a lot of damage to about everyone! The Wraith really need to update their weapons, they've been unchallenged for so long!

And yay! He does indeed find the Queen a bit annoying... *g* Todd likes having his own independent boat! The doll.

"That's not possible," he said aloud,...

-Did you think I would forget?-

Awe! Mikey knew all about the Wraith experiment! That would imply they knew each other? I hate to see Michael get addressed as the Unclean One, and the Tainted One. And even Abomination comes out of Todd's mouth/mind... :(

*Pictures Todd and Michael working together on that weapon, in a past life* Bwahahahaha! Todd should have asked the Lanteans to see a picture of Michael!

***

So, nothing new on Michael/Teyla till the third episode? Does that mean that the third one (Teyla giving birth) runs at the same time as the second one?

Didn't I ask you what you were going do about 'The Queen' yet? I just thought it would be interesting if Michael prepped her to go do some undercover work... ^^

Great first episode! Now take some rest, and then it's on to the next one!

*Ronon/Sam*

Yeah, it was kind of sad when it came up in writing for those two to have such nice bonding moments, but what can you do? Ronon is very 'reflective' at the beginning of Chain of Command

***

*Michael's experiments*

I do believe you'd right about what he said he was going to use the DNA for. HOwever, large discrepacncy (and with the 'real' show as well), if it was just the DNA he was after, why wait. He could quite easily lift it while 'Toran' was still in the womb.

***

*Michael/Teyla*

Is she somewhat losing herself in Michael and the mind bond? I guess it must be very addicting for her, it would be so easily to turn into his arms and seek his comfort, even if he's the one killing all those people. Heck, that doesn't even seem to register any more. No wonder she's not around Rodney when he's awake?

She's scared, she's in need of comfort, and to a degree, yes... all of that is getting mixed up in her head. She's still very much aware of the bad stuff he's done/is doing, and it's why she's so torn, but rignt now...she's very much the woman in need of comfort, and he's being 'kind' to her enough that she's reaching out. Very complicated... it's why she keeps swinging back around to be against him again every so often.

No, Kanaan isn't dead.... yet *evil laugh*

***

*Vega*

She's green. Sure she's seen combat before, but the Wraith are something else... and of course, that run in with Michael she had. Just what did she see in his 'eyes'?

Getting caught by the Wraith was a spot of bad luck, wasn't it. *evil grin* and nope, she's not becoming a hybrid - Michael's plan for her was entirely more insidious than that.

***

*Lorne*

Is, I'm sure, going to cause quite a bit of conflict... Don't think Woolsey will like having one of Michael's hybrids walking around Atlantis, as free as you like.

***

*Zelenka*

Yeah, we luff Radek too. :)

***

*Rodney*

Rodney's likely to be very much in conflict after his brush with Michael, and over what Michael 'did' to Lorne.

***

*Todd*

Yes, it is a nice weapon, isn't it. The Wraith have been 'neutered' for far too long. It's time they had some bite.

He does find the Queen annoying, yes, but also, she's a Queen - so as far as that goes, he's going to obey her to a degree because - well... that's what you do when you're a Wraith, right?

Todd knows /of/ Michael far more than we realise at this point. (Wraith 'Michael'that is).

***

So, nothing new on Michael/Teyla till the third episode? Does that mean that the third one (Teyla giving birth) runs at the same time as the second one?

Pretty much, yes, kind of... is the best answer that I can give without giving too much away.

Didn't I ask you what you were going do about 'The Queen' yet?

I believe you did, and my answer was that beyond the first episode, I was not sure how many of the spoilers from the other episodes I would use, because I don't think I'm going to be keeping up with the show in terms of writing. It took me longer than a week to do the first episode so...

I don't think people will be disappointed with what's going to happen though... in respect of Teyla I mean.

*Michael's experiments*

That's exactly what I was thinking also! If he really only just wants to *use* the kid's DNA, then why wait indeed? Take that same syringe, and pull that thing up, instead of pressing it down to inject the baby with something...

You could say that they didn't do that because they thought it was too dark, but they already shoved a needle in her belly, so the largest step has been made...

The same is going to happen in a later episode, Michael's second of the season. But I shan't spoil it for you. All I can say it's got to do with the baby again.

***

*Alicia Vega*

My mind just flashed to something: transform Vega into 'Teyla' so the Wraith will think they got her, and they won't chase her any more, since they believe she's dead then.

That would be kinda sweet of him, since he knows that one was a hard one to face for her, being on the 'top 10 most wanted list' of the Wraith...

Quite funny how everybody now has at least one alien in captivity. Michael's got Teyla, Todd has Vega and a Hybrid, and the Lanteans got themselves a Hybrid... (And what's left in Rodney's mind about Michael's research - probably not much, just an address or two)

***

*Lorne*

Well, it was the only way to save him, probably... If it wasn't, then you're back at the ease that was getting out of that building in S&R, so... ^^

Not that Michael had Teyla's feelings in mind when he did that... If that boy wants to keep his female, he's got much to learn.

***

*Todd*

Read Wraitsinger's new one, yet? Todd is Michael's daddy in that one! *g*

Not that I believe the Wraith would have those sentiments...

***

Would this be a perfect time to ask you how you think the Wraith reproduce? Don't know if we've touched that point yet? From eggs in sacks like Michael's creatures were, in Vengeance, maybe?

And Michael, did he conduct some experiments about 6 generations ago to make people more, well, 'yummy'?

***

Gotta go to bed, woopsie, 2 in the morning again. Gotta get up before 5 in one night... And the weather is going to be bad, bwahahaha!

Man, I hope the rest of my Stargate books arrive tomorrow, since then I can select which ones to take with me. :P

And Ark of Truth can arrive as well, as far as I'm concerned.

Night!

*Michael's Experiments*

I guess they could have thought it was too dark, but... yeah, like you say. It's okay, I know about the second episode he's in. I do read the spoilers on Gateworld avidly for anything relating to Michael/Teyla.

***

*Vega*

Would be kind of sweet, but no... that's not it either. *evil grin some more*

Probably not much left in Rodney's head... nope... and what there is he probably won't say... having heard Michael's warning 'loud and clear' - or at least what he /assumes/ was Michael's warning.

***

*Lorne*

It was the only way to save him... but then Michael never does anything without a reason. *g* He does have a lot to learn, yes.

***

*Todd*

Yeah, I've read it... and I don't think they'd have that kind of sentiment either - but it was an interesting premise.

***

My own personal take on Wraith reproduction - based on the episode with the Wraith girl (Ellia?) in it, and on other stuff from somewhere else, is that to make the 'drones' - the fighters and the other wraith with the faces, the Queen's use cloning facilities... mass production in the egg-sack/chamber thingies (Spoils of War)

But to make a female... to create another Queen... Now that, I see as a different matter entirely. As I said, my personal take, and kind of screwed up by a comment made by Michael, but... Don't agree with the writers on the direction of M/T-S5 anyway - and I knew I wouldn't so... that's what Fanfic is for, right?

And yeah, I believe that it was Michael, though Connor, when I asked him about it, said, (with a grin) "That would be a little too convenient, don't you think?" He was actually very sweet, and very keen to talk about Michael with me until we were interrupted. :)

***

Yeah, almost that time here now too. I'm sorry the weather is going to be bad for you... with any luck your books will arrive and you can read while on vacation. I started with Chain of Command and the image and synopsis for Enmity is up on the website too.

Goodnight.

Just a quick reply, bed time...

You started with the next story already? Wow, that's great! With a bit of luck, by Thursday/Friday-ish, maybe? Neat!

Oh, gotta go read that synopsis now! Hope it won't get me too excited, because I need to sleep! Lol.

And Michael being the scientist would be a bit too convenient, maybe. Although, in a way, it would be poetic justice. Maybe it's Todd... Not that I see him as the type of Wraith that has those kind of experiments going on... But it did say that the Wraith suddenly stopped with his research? Don't know exactly any more, but maybe he got captured then? Todd did state that he thought Teyla would make some lucky Wraith a very tasty meal. The scientist was after all going for making them yummier... Although I really don't get why they should be by the addition of Wraith DNA... I always thought he might have wanted them to give them more life force instead... If they would be able to give people a longer life, then there would be more for them to suck out of a person, longer life means one person can have more children, so more people is more food, more food = partay time! And the scientist was one that was not disgusted with giving people Wraith DNA (the Queens would be?). It was done in secrecy, and Todd definitely has side projects, he wouldn't be able to do the things he wants to do should he be working under a Queen. No Queen would order such a thing, maybe? Todd has age, and he's got many skills. Also he was given the research to the Hoffan drug, so he should know something about DNA already (assuming he worked on it himself). It would also shed an interesting light on his "Impossible" in SOW, and it would be funny to see him use the results of his experiments like he does in The Queen. :DDD

Okay, bed time now. Ciao!
