What Happened To the Laws of Physics?
Jan. 25th, 2007 10:02 pmSo Dad was kinda right, it was a very light dusting of snow, if it was snow at all and not heavy sleet, because by the time we got up it had frozen solid into ice. Still that was okay, went out a little earlier, scraped it all off Brewi.i. Started out, and by the time I had gotten a little way up the main road, I had to stop with my hazzard warning lights on because the windscreen had frozen over again and I couldn't see. Had to wait for about ten minutes of so for the blower to defrost it again. Then wiggled my way through to get to the roads I needed to take to get to work. I'd thought that taking the main roads would be easier and safe, in the end I wish I had gone the regular way - stopping would have been /so/ much easier.
The kids were inside all day for a second day running. Our yard at school doesn't get much sun and consequently it was more of a skating rink than a playground, and of course we don't want broken bones and things so... in they were. They hate it - being cooped up all the time, and boy do they let us know about it.
