Use'ara: Thirteen Stars

Lindsay wakes after crash Landing.
T'zen begins the next of her mating cycles.
We learn about the fall of the Thirteen Stars (in flashback)
T'zen rejects all possible suitors (again).

So I decided to stick with Lindsay as the name of the hero even though it's a gender ambiguous name because that's the name that's been stuck in my head this whole time and I can't think of him with a different name. The opening few scenes are written and I'm fairly happy with them, which is worrying because the beginning of a novel is usually the most reworked part of the story after it's all been written. Still we'll see how it is when I finally reach that point.

Thanks, Megan. I think it was in reply to Vega somewhere that I said that one of my goals this year is to get something published and get paid for it, since last year I had a reader's letter published in SFX. So we'll see how I go on with that.
