What kind of extra-curricular activities did you participate in at school?

In primary school, it was all Dance, drama, music and gymnastics. I was accepted for the County School of Dance - where I learned Ballet until I started to develop ladybits. They messed with my balance and things. I performed in many of the school productions, including the Wizard of Oz, and I sang in the opera, "Noah's Floode" that was performed by the National School's Choir. In Gymnastics I took the British Amateur Gymnastic Awards, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

In Middle School, once again dance and drama and music were the main focus, but I also did a little track and field stuff in athletics. I took part in the Leicestershire Schools' Drama festival at the local professional theatre. I played the part of the 'Supreme Intergalactic Judges Assistant' in a production where mankind was on trial for its abuse of Earth. It was a kind of 'Angel' role - very Irin like, actually. I remember, I closed the show... now see, I'm not a Christian person... though I do actually believe in Christ, it's a complicated thing. Anyway, the ending of the show was just me and a spotlight, and I had to walk to centre stage, clap my hands together before spreading them out to the side, and instructing 'man' to go now... and do now more harm... remaining in that position until the lights faded to black. Every day, without fail, I would end the show in tears... in fact I am again now, just remembering it. It was powerful. Anyway, in music I was a part of the school choir, and the madrigal choir - which for those of you that don't know, is like an unaccompanied choir singing complicated partwork. The music teacher told me I was pitch perfect. I wonder if I still am. The Athletic was sprinting... the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay - where I ran second to last. I also did the Long Jump. We competed against other schools, and I wasn't bad, but I don't think I ever really won much either.

Secondary School, again drama, but also Judo this time. I was in the drama club... did a production of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, where I played Trillian. The production was actually sanctioned by Douglas Adams, who is the author of the book it was based on. It's a shame I don't still have the letter. I think Ken (Jay'D)- the abusive bf that scared the hell out of me won custody of that.
In Judo I got to Green belt. So don't mess with me. LOL
