cedar_groveEver felt you're carrying the weight of the worlds on your shoulders... literally? That's the way I feel right now.
But I guess that's what you get for being five hours ahead of everyone else. You're either on alone, and having to do the whole of all the conversations you're having, or the person who writes the group that you're talking with is not at the keys and so you still have to do the same. Either way you end up using the glorious old @emit and worrying like hell that you're not typing something that the person would never say - ie that you're hearing correctly - that your own group member is not mangling what they hear.
I know it's always been a problem. That everyone's been afraid to emit at times... I mean okay if it's a person from another group that you're hearing without the aid of a safety net *ahem* (that is hearing their words through a member of your own group), then I can see that. But when it's someone from your own group, and you're hearing that person properly - why fear to type what /they/ are hearing, what they're resonding to?
I've spent the last three or four days making very good friends with @emit... and I'm /tired/, but better that then have nothing of some important conversations logged. But then at least others could do me the courtesy of /reading/ those logs.
I've spent the last three of four days being complained at for the quality of my writing.... and I'm /tired/ of that too and of being told I will never understand...
I give up. What more do they want from me?
