What was amazing was that their small delicate hands were touching, their monkey fingers leaning into each other… There was none of the human pretence at independence. They clearly needed each other to experience peace.

I have been called needy… and you know what? I hold up my hand and OWN that. I'm a very touchy feely kind of person… and when I'm most at peace is what I'm in the arms of the woman I love.




I hear her voice, and I am soothed. I see her, and I the world is light. I'm a person in my own right, sure, but my heart, my soul and my sense of peace... it comes from her and I hope, in turn flows back to her too. Being away from her is probably the hardest thing I ever have to do.
