The thought for today...

cedar_groveToday my calendar says, "Whenever we first meet out own emotional needs, out natural instinct is to reach out and be more loving to those we care about."
The other one says, "Never underestimate the power of passion."
I think the two go together well. *sighs* And I'm sure I'd feel better about it if I were not being taunted by the universe...
Today Linda came to me and asked me to tell her straight if I had heard anything from any of the schools. I tell her no, because that's the truth, I haven't and she then tells me that the rumours going around school are that I have resigned because I'm going to work in a school in America after the summer. *sighs* I /so/ wish that were true.
So then I get home only to speak to my bank who ask me if I'm working in America now, because they had spoken to someone last week who told them I was.
*sighs* Why do I feel as if everything is against me and no one wants me to be able to achieve this one thing...
I'm going to go cry now.
