For those of you wondering

Just in case anyone is wondering if I've dropped off he face of the planet... no. I have travelled to the USA for some time with loved ones. :) (And hopefully VIF will sort something out so that I don't have to keep leaving).

Anyway, that being said, I am still around, just not quite as often getting to the computer and internet. Busy getting ready for the trip to Vegas. Very excited about it of course, but still very much to sort out.

I am still writing... I have almost finished the first act of Chain of Command just one more scene to write and it will be done.

So please don't anyone give up on me. :) I'm still right here... though right now I need to eat.

Hmm, I wonder if it'll be in before it turns Friday, or if I'll find it Friday morning... ^^

Hottest day of the year it was here, today. 31 degrees C, or sth. Man, the room is hot. It might be slightly better thanks to roof isolation, but it's still sweaty in here, where the big compo is. :D

It might be some time Friday if you are a good girl... but you have to remember I have a bigger time difference to you now... about 6 hours perhaps?

Yup, 6 hour diff now! :(

I should wash up a bit and get dressed, it was a hot night, and that mosquito that attacked with cow bells around its neck didn't do much good to it, either.

Oh, I still have to hunt it down and squash it. Mustn't forget, or it's on repeat the next night. ;)

Hopefully you'll forgive me chuckling... in a little country like mine you get a different perspective of distance. Isn't Ohio quite a way away from North Carolina?

I'm here to be with my gf. Very soon we're leaving for our vacation in Las Vegas, to coincide with the Star Trek convention of course. :)

Ah well, glad you're happy even though we didn't get to meet. For future ref, NC is only a few hours away by car and we've made the trip to that very area before to meet LJ friends. :)
