My Sweet Boy

It's a sad day, even though it was a relief in the end because it means he isn't suffering any more, but today, in the very early hours of the morning, Flash stopped struggling against his old age and passed into the great rattie beyond. He lived a very long and happy life. He was a very loving little rat and we'll all miss him.

I know that it was time, but I also know that it was very hard. It was hard to go to bed last night without that little rattie rustling beside me in the bed... It was very lonely after hearing it for a few weeks now.
