Chapter: 2
Sequel to: XXXX
All that is has gone before.
Imagine a world which is literally alive, like it's own biosystem, and anything or anyone who sets foot on its green grasslands, or sandy deserts becomes one with this 'Anima Mundi' - an irrevocable part of its ecosystem. You have Use'ara.
The story (or stories, depending how long it runs) follow 13 colonists, whose ship gets into trouble, and whose life pods bring them down on this strange world. They weren't meant to land here - they were on their way elsewhere - and the majority of their colonist, and equipment, and 'seeds' have been lost in the problem that brought them to land on this world in the first place. This is their fight for survival and to cope with adapting to the changes that happen. It is also the story of their impact on the indiginous population, who are already struggling for survival in wars that have never before been heard of among their people, because they all need each other for one fundamental matter that saves them all from extinction... reproduction.
It's been both fun, and absolute hell creating everything from the ground up - literally. The landscape, the culture, the language, even the number system, (not a decimal number system at all). If you've never done it before, I'd highly recommend it - it really stretches your writer's muscles.
