The angels, ancient fathers of the Nephilim monsters out of biblical legends, sleep buried deep beneath the deserts of the war-torn middle east... and one man wants their power for himself.
This is a very long, involved and complicated story that started very small. The basic tale is about three-quarters told, but the issue is how to organise it to make it make the best sense, and give the most action packed, horror filled ride to the reader. I'm sure it will find it's way in time, but for right now it's still rattling around in the old brain box.
There's a lot of heavy 'male dominated' cult related things in this, and a good deal of the psychic/supernatural element, but in many ways its also a very human story... with fears and issue that we can all relate to on some level - you know... love, abandonment... loss... It also explores reincarnation, destiny and whether such things are predetermined, or whether we cast our own lots as we go along. Oh, and did I mention there are 'angels' in it?
For now though, they still sleep.
