Yuppy Mummy? (Day 10)

So I get called downstairs, all kind of serious and stuff, "Well, as soon as you get a minute, come down and look at something." So I'm wondering what it is she wants me to look at.





This little thing is what Mum wanted me to see. And in spite of it looking a little bit like a yuppy Christmas Treeish thing... it's actually quite tasteful. I tried getting a picture with the flash on, but then you couldn't see the lights so well, so I did it without. It's a bit dark, but you get the impression.

I've always said my mum was a bit strange - now I know that she is.

Day 9 - no the other one today was before I went to bed.

So... today was... okay I guess.

First I discovered the script I ordered had indeed been dispatched and was in the USPS distribution centre in Greensboro NC. So that should hopefully find it's way to being delivered in the next couple of days.

School audit apparently went okay too, so that's good, because if it had been bad they could have called in the dreaded OFSTED team. Grrrr.

Half of my kids didn't show up for singing club... um... commitment guys, we can't do partwork very well with only 4 of you.

Soon be the weekend. Yep.
