"When you offer a sincere compliment to your spouse, child or someone else you love. It gives them a reputation to live up to in a positive way. It encourages them to shine in your eyes and it's a way of telling them you appreciate and love them."
Rather appropriate, since today we gave to Eiri her birthday gift... of course we had to take her there or she would never have gone - hating photographs as she does, and of course we wont get to see the results until next saturday, but the photographer said that they were some stunning pictures. The things we do for our writer... all we want is for her to have a little self confidence.
