The End of a Pretty Miserable Day

Yeah, I know it's good for the plants but rain, rain, rain... Still, it proves the tyres on my car are all right.

It was cold today so someone asked the Head Teacher to turn the school heating back on, which of course he did, and then when it stopped being cold, everyone started dropping from heat exhaustion, and it made the children just /nightmares/.

Watching something at dinner time, some Western or other... (Trip would be proud of me), when suddenly out of the blue, Dad started quoting the Mummy when one of the bad guys got shot. He suddenly said, "...Always get their comeuppance. Always? Always." I almost choked on my dinner. I didn't even know he'd seen the movie more than once, let alone enough times to be able to randomly quote from it.

That's the problem with this kind of weather... it's too cold in the mornings and too hot in the afternoons, no one knows what to wear.

Some day in the future I think people will start to have climate controlled clothing.

It's got to be in the works.

You have a new icon, Derg? It looks good. You're absolutely right about the weather and the mornings, not so sure about the clothing though... I think that might be a bit much for some people.
