Why Does It Make Me Nervous...?
Oct. 6th, 2006 09:11 pmToday was the shindig for one of the people at the school where I'm working. So I tried to show willing by going for a bit, though have to admit 'pub crawl' in the middle of the city centre is not exactly my idea of the ideal night... anyway, didn't want to be seen to be anti-social by the folks at work so I went... and since one of my co-workers literally lives around the corner from me, and was the one that gave me a ride to work when my car was in for its service and inspection in the middle of the week, I said I'd drive her. So why does driving with someone else in the car make me nervous? I don't understand that. City centre is a scary place at night... or maybe I'm just an old fuddy-duddy. LOL
Aside from that, I've discovered they're all /mad/ :) I said to one of them, 'you know that feeling when you wonder what you've let yourself in for...?' to which the response came, 'this is the up side of being Catholic... we know how to have a good time.'
I have a feeling there will be a good many hangovers at Mass tomorrow.
