...exactly how someone being buried alive and ransomed bears any resemblance to police raids after a number of bombing?

Do the media really think that people are so F***** fragile that they would get upset over such an obviously 'close' similarity?

Maybe I'm insensitive and in a minority, but what difference is one week going to make to how upset or otherwise people are going to get over a TV show that they're probably watching anyway because they enjoy that kind of show because it depicts the good guys, using the evidence to find the perps and put them away? TV stations need to stop being so pussy foot, lilly livered, and let people make up their own mind as to whether to watch the scheduled episode of a show like CSI or not "...in light of today's events..."

Just like I did... when I turned the show /off/ because it wasn't what I expected to see. Okay - rant over.

Huh?

What episode of CSI did you turn off? Did someone blame CSI for something that happened? Some of us are missing a lot of information here.

I don't know what episodes I turned off, because as soon as they said there were not playing the ones I expected I just switched off. They were supposed to play the season finale with Nick trapped buried and Grissom getting ransom demands. But then decided not to show this in light of all the police raids against the terrorists houses in Leeds - the people from there being the ones they suspect of the bombs in London. CSI isn't exactly being blamed, but they're saying it could upset people. I don't understand.
