Beyond The Third: Act 4 - Review part 1

Geesh, I haven't used my icons in so long, especially the M/T ones, I hardly remember which one is which! :o

Short review thingies only. Had lots to read, so... Plus I already asked you the major chunk in a mail. :-D

--

Poor this Alicia, in a way. A Todd that likes to play hard is hopefully not completely something we’ll be seeing in the original AU. I mean an abusive relationship is not my thing… (I’m referring to the choking game.)

She has evidence of slight scarring on her face? Anything in particular happen?

The other Todd/Vega bits are nice, though. Of course, all of Todd’s bits are ni- er, let’s stop there, I think you know where that thought is going to.

”Just what I said," Todd spread his hands. "In the current circumstances I have my hands full with keeping the Abomination's forces at bay.”

Not to mention with Alicia… :D

Alicia doesn’t want a ‘she’ to go away, but is that the young Wraith Queen perhaps from the previous ep? Although… More speculation later on…

Hmm, at first when I read that Todd said Alicia had been ‘loyal *enough*’ to him, I thought that perhaps Alicia was the one from whom Michael had gotten his help getting off the Hive, and that she attacked Todd while being under his control, influence, but then reading the line again, it’s perhaps more a line that Teyla would use, concerning her people and her baby. But it doesn’t specify if it’s a woman who attacks together with Michael, so I don’t know what to think anymore. Are you going to tell who it was, or do we have to potentially wait until the possible follow-up episode from the sixth (?) season?

Lol, Sheppard’s ‘bad feeling at the back of his mind’ when he’s waiting on the bridge, is that Michael? *g*

So, Rodney’s going to reprogram the crystal to dial itself up in another reality and different time? And the mini-Queen finds it? Does that mean it’ll get reused at a later point by her? You certainly left that angle open.

To throw him off was reflex,…

Teyla has to frequently throw Kanaan off of her or what? :P

You know, Teyla betraying John and the others for the chance to hold her son (whom is in stasis so he didn’t age much after the birth, or what? She still has a baby while he should have been walking around for a while now?) is a very mean trick. She seemed upset about Sheppard’s death before, but she doesn’t seem to care much for her friends now. They weren’t exactly her friends, but they kinda still are, and then she did this. Having AU versions of your friends turned into hybrids is a very big price to pay for seeing your son. Perhaps one that our Teyla wouldn’t pay? Missing your kid is one thing, but to pay that price is another. What I would have more accepted as a general reason was that perhaps the resistance of the humans all over the galaxy was doomed to fail, they don’t work well together, and there’s too few of them to matter. It wouldn’t perhaps have added that much to Todd’s defences, should his plan have worked.

Hmm, that thing Michael did with Keller? Should it once be successful, is that something he’ll do to Teyla? Or is she perfect to him the way she is? *g* Just like the baby… Speaking of which:

"I feel his strength. I feel the strands you took from our shared DNA to wrap around the template you blanked from... what... another Athosian woman?" Nethaiye challenged.

Huh? Isn’t Teyla the mother? Or does he mean the baby version of the cloned Nethaiye wasn’t exactly what he has in his arms?

I forgot, did this Michael also sent Kanaan loaded with little Mikeys (it’s just so much fun to say it like that) to Teyla? And why am I now thinking on Michael and Kanaan exchanging balls too? Geesh.

There’s a young Wraith girl walking around in Atlantis, right? Is that Todd’s daughter, or what? Because her ‘sire’, so that’s her father, is a very rebellious thing? Is that the girl Todd wanted to send away? His daughter? Whom with did he have her? Alicia likes her very much? So that’s not the girl from the original season 5 then, the one with the funky abilities, or whatever? Cos that’s who I was reminded of before. Does Alicia see her as a bit of a daughter, or a niece, or something? After rereading, because I absolutely quickly had to say something about it, and didn’t read things very correctly, I saw her mother was a curious thing? That doesn’t really seem a quality that’s right for a Queen. Perhaps it’s Alicia, then? *g*

Perhaps, if she’s somehow a child of Todd and Alicia, she’s a hybrid-like Queen, and she’s perfect for Nethaiye… Oh, the possibilities! *g*

Does Alicia secretly have a name for her? After all, the ship needs a name. LOL

Where is the Elder’s big Commander in this story? Did he perhaps get killed earlier on, and then Todd was the one with whom the Elder had her daughter, if it’s not with Alicia, that is? ^___^

Er, did they ram the Hive ship against Atlantis, or what? Or was that supposed to be a landing? If the ‘remains’ of a ship are near the wreckage at the portal,…

Hey wait a minute… Todd can send messages to the rest of his fleet still, right? And he did know that McKay was going to deactivate the Ring again, he clearly said that in Todd’s presence…

Lol @ the Queen being infected. By Teyla, I presume?

Silly thing thinking she could get away with Michael’s seed. It’s Teyla’s, she should have known.

Another lol @ Woolsey being totally ignored in the end conversation.

"Jennifer," Sheppard gasped, reaching for her hand and gripping it tightly. "If you can't…. if you… if…"

If I ever speak pro-Mikey, then shoot me?

What ever happened to the Daedalus? Michael said to follow procedures, but I’m going to guess the ship is fine?

And Zelenka was left behind on Atlantis? Any particular reason? I still don’t get if he was pro-Mikey or not, because twice he had a stunner to his face at first, and not any more after that, and still he was working against Rodney.

How are the people from the main land doing? Todd might not leave them alone? Beckett and co were still there, right?

You think Todd is going to find his way to Rodney’s big bubblebath? Could be fun with him and Alicia in there. :P

Are we ever going to find out if Todd dumped Alicia on the floor all hot and bothered again, so he could go look, or send out people to go look for that Elder Queen? Does that mean she’ll have her old position again, with her hand maidens that tend for her, or will Todd put a stop to that, make her understand he’s top dog, and that Alicia is his, shall not be hurt by her, and is not her servant anymore?

Gah, you once told me that you don’t really know yet if you’re gonna like those Daniel Jackson eps you’re gonna do in a bit, perhaps there’s something you can do with this AU? Lol.

I’m looking forward to getting the first pages of Deliverance over to beta. *g* FINALLY THERE!

Sneaky, naughty, bad, bad Todd... Sexy, dirty, bad, bad Todd. Regarding the above speculation by Spikey about the little female child - oh, she is so Todd's and Alicia's.

I am gleeful, and happy. Can't wait for Deliverance now. :D

Yeah, okay I take the hint it took me a long while to get this finished. It wasn't my fault. :)

Poor Alicia? The Original!Todd is a little more considerate than AU!Todd... but you mustn't ever forget that he's Wraith.

Yes, something very particular happened to cause the 'scarring' on Alicia's face.

Stop! We don't need to hear about Todd's bits.

Alicia doesn't want her to be sent away, no. You're right.

Um... do you mean who attacks Todd? There is so much scope for following up on this AU that I hadn't previously intended so.. we'll see.

Nope, Sheppard's bad feelings are all his own.

Reprogrammed crystal - see Season 6

Teyla's 'defection/betrayal' of the others is way more complex than just the matter of her son... but for the sake of the story here, that was the reason she gave them. And that's all I'm going to say about that right now.

*evil grin*

Teyla's perfect to Michael...

Teyla was not the doner of the ova from which the clone of Nethaiye was created. No.

It wasn't made clear if the Michael of this universe performed the genetic splice with Kanaan - though... perhaps it could be implied that he did not.

Young Wraith... interesting speculations there - but if I told you, I'd have to kill you - or feed on you or something.

The possibilities indeed are endless.

A name for whom? The little queen? What does the ship have to do with anything.

We don't know where the Elder's big Commander is in this story.

No, the Hive remained in orbit. The wreckage of the ship that is referred to in the text is the PJ that came through the gate...

Todd - fleet - knowing - yes of course he did, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to /undo/ whatever McKay did.

Yep, Teyla infected the Queen.

Of course the're going to ignore Woolsey, he's an arse.

Why should I shoot you for speaking pro-Mikey. This is an AU Mikey. You can't take it out on our Mikey.

Daedalus is safely away with Michael.

They left Zelenka because... well just he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The people on the mainland are safe for the time being...

Rodney has a big bubble bath?

Will Todd go and look for the Elder Queen? how did it go again...?

=evolution= =evolution= =evolution=

Watch that space.

I still don't know if or when I will continue the AU - except the one tie in for season 6.

Yes, we are finally at Deliverance. I have to start planning it. :)

I have to start planning Deliverance I guess. LOL

But of /course/ not... :D It's the Muse that was slacking...

Of course we shouldn't forget that he's Wraith, but must he choke her till she about loses consciousness? I hope our Todd won't do that, won't go that far. But with having an entire Alliance to take care of, I'm sure AU!Todd was very stressed. And then that biatch calls him when he's finally having his fun after a long day's work. Pfft. He should have let her rot in hell. :P

*Patiently waits for Eiri to tell me what happened with Alicia that she has scars*

Are they from Todd's finger armour?

Yes, we do! We really, really do. Just remember. *Two*. Or do you mean you wanna tell us about Mikey's bits first? :P

Yes, I get that Alicia wants to keep her there, but /why/? Although I have a theory...

We can either see very soon, or you can pre-tell me. You know where my e-mail addy is. *g*

Season 6. Can I get a link? :P

*Hangs Eiri upside down* You sure?

On to the next bits...

But of course she is. ^^

So it wasn't /entirely/ Nethaiye?

Perhaps, yes, because Nethaiye turned out so different from your original season. I mean, Michael thought he was perfect, had perfect DNA, but he did it by manipulating him, but I perhaps had a feel that there wasn't that much of an involvement of Kanaan? At least not the splicing, because the original one didn't do what Michael wanted from him, I think? Is he the solution for better hybrids, for curing Michael, etc, in the original one? Definitely not the latter?

I think the girl thinks of Alicia/someone as her birth mom, so perhaps she was made by Todd and a Queen, but instead of being put in a sack, she was put in Alicia to grow and be born? Perhaps it wasn't safe to do otherwise?

Yes, you silly... *slap* A name for the girl. Like Spike + Buffy = Spuffy. A ship name... You know, the ones you don't like. So what's her name, so we can see if we can combine it with Nethaiye's to start a new ship. :D Romeo and Juliet-wise?

I'm not speaking pro-Mikey, Sheppard might start to. Another thing you didn't pick up. :(

Yay for the Daedalus being safe, at least.

Poor Zelenka.

Yes, Rodney does. Don't you remember him sitting in it, with his hand pc? Ew.

What space? :P Shoot that space.

Well... do you know by now? *g*

Did you start/end planning yet? Is it still an alone-ish ep, or is it a bit of a 4-parter with the other 3 eps?

Oh, I'm so glad to find them back in the right universe. As much as I love all the Todd/Alica yumminess and even the Michael/Teyla-ness the Adult Nethaiye freaks me out (well, more like Nethaiye/Keller pairing freaks me out).

I wonder what changes have been made in the seven weeks they were gone. There's bound to be some new developements that Shep and team might not like.

Oh, and I like how Mikey double crosses the Queen. She should have seen that coming if she hadn't been to preoccupied. **shakes head** I almost feel sorry for her. Almost.

Will we see this universe again? I would like to see some of it bleed through to our universe or even one or two of the characters finding a way here.

I so hope that Shep and team remembers Au!Alica being with Todd and wonders if their Alica might still be alive. Seriously, the should wonder how much alike the two realities are from each other.

Can't wait to for the next episode!
