Toil and Trouble

...soon there were books and assignments and model cars to glue and arguments and anger, and I forgot there ever was a butterfly.
We all get caught up in the toil of things from time to time and forget to enjoy and live life. That was me today - rushing from one task to the next, trying to get through as much of my 'to do' list as I possibly could, and because I was rushing through everything, not really enjoying any of it... not until I made myself stop... until I made myself put away the files, and the magazines and the sheets of scribbled notes and ideas I had at some point in the day and all the rest of the trappings of the mundane...
Only then did I start to enjoy the rest of the day - and by then of course, it was almost bed time.
In release, we begin.
