Yes, I still want more - but enough more that we CLOSE!

Getting to work this morning was damn near impossible. The hill that I usually go up on my route into work was like glass, so that was out, leaving only the main road. Maybe the best way to go, but even on a good day that takes at least twice as long, going that way, and then there would be a hill the other end. But still, main road it is, at about 5mph. I got as far as Asda before I turned around again to try a different route, this one more successful, if not entirely snow free. Once I got to the school, couldn't get into it for all the parents' cars. Ended up parked in the church car park and walking the rest of the way.

The rest of the day was pretty quiet and uneventful, with only one of my three little 'angels' showing up. The other two much have had 'snow related ilnesses' aka snowballitis.

Got back and did a bunch of stuff for school before catching up with jansma and in between those things, trying to figure out where best to get a Wii for mum and me. Also been still trying to find news on the road thing from Chapel Hill yesterday, not that it makes a difference now, just... I'm curious - no such luck.

I also spent some time on a few job listing sites today. There are plenty of daycare vacancies in NC, but not so many 'professional' positions I feel I could apply for. Still I have bookmarked all the sites and will keep on looking. This includes a full list of Charter Schools, and I'm still working on the Private Schools.
