So the fighting continues on all fronts… It’s a bummer Sheppard had to lose a good pilot during the fight, but it’s best to listen to your superiors. Speaking of which, I’m glad that for once he decided to listen to Caldwell, and went back. Venting atmosphere, and wanting to continue flying on… *shakes head*
Oh great. There’s a Wraith out there that’s actually paying attention to what’s going on in battle. How wonderful for Michael. Michael did mention that there’s defences to the place they’re at. It seems like they might be tested yet. But hey, at least Teyla’s comforted for the moment. ^^

Oh, now you’re just bragging, making up all these new words. :P
What does this one mean? Perhaps it’s closer to ‘my everything’?
"It really was beautiful," she murmured softly. She felt him move, and looked up to meet the querying tilt of his head. She answered, "The nebula."
I’m happy she told him that she did think it was beautiful. And at what a moment, too! And then there’s the ones before. I’m happy they, er, managed to come to an… agreement. Lol. No shredding of clothes this time. Oh, hello. That would have made an awesome picture, them coming out of that room in torn clothes. It’s late again as I type this, so that’s my excuse. I always think I’m funny then. Mostly, I‘m the only one laughing. :P
What if he truly had to take a step back across that line, and enlist the help of a more accomplished geneticist – the only one he knew?
And at what cost would that assistance be acquired?
Since that’s the title of the fic, I reckon we’ll find out? I mean, it would certainly be a line crossed, asking Michael for help.
"Anything!" he roared, "I could have forgiven anything but this!"
Okay, I understand the part where no worshipper is to kill another Wraith. Humans are nothing except for food and they do things for you, but they are replaceable. Wraith are not. But Isla is his confidante, has been sent on this super secret special mission together with him, and it’s I think known that the Matriarch would love it for her to come back in one piece, so that one can do things to Isla that we don’t even want to know about at this point… Shouldn’t that be a *bit* of an excuse that she was above that one Wraith? I mean, we’ve no idea, or Malcolm isn’t even asking, or looking in her mind, as far as we know, to see if that one Wraith was actually *worth* Isla’s life.
Besides, that order that the Second gave Isla that under no circumstances was Michael to feed from her did not happen that long ago, I think… If Michael, whom I think the Second was perhaps more intrigued by than that Wraith she accidentally killed, wasn’t even to feed from her, then why should that one?

Re: Crossing Lines: Act 1 - part 1
Of course that's a Wraith paying attention to what's going on. The most dangerouns of kinds. It will cause trouble, I promise.
-parmhunaeterna... yeah, about something like that. :)
Michael and Teyla crossed a /very/ dangerous line, even if they didn't end up tearing each other's clothes this time.
Beckett - yes, asking Mikey for help would be crossing a huge line :)
Ah, the drama between Malcolm and Isla will continue to unfold, never fear.

I’ve in my notes that the ::insert words:: is Lilith, but which Queen was Lilith again? The Matriarch? It would perhaps make most sense with the description that’s given after those words. Falling water, white of life… But still no forgiveness.
He closed his eyes as the regret and sorrow swept over him, overwhelming, until he was drowning in it.
Oh, come on, Malcolm. At least find a punishment for her, but give her a chance to atone for what she’s done. How many centuries/millennia has she been in your presence? She’s special, even because she’s part hybrid, so don’t toss her away like that.
Is that about the last we’ll see if Isla? Has he truly forsaken her?
"Find for me a servant worthy of my trust," he whispered against her ear. "Send her to me."
Hmm, that’s on the same ship as Alicia was on, right? There weren’t exactly trustworthy worshippers around. Does the Second need a new body servant? Does he get that if the Hive Commander understands that he’s dumped Isla, she’s a very easy target? What that was the hug and nips were for? A ‘goodbye because you’ll soon be dead’ kind of thing? Not that Isla doesn’t know how Wraith work, and that she needs to stay away from certain ones.
"If you must find a safer position, then take the ship just beyond the edge of the system, find a place to set down, or… or a planet to shield you from detection…
Oh, this could potentially be so funny… Everybody hiding behind the same planet… :-D
"Marks has identified a likely blind spot we could use as a hiding place,"
You and about every other army… Oh no! Shields are down!
=now is not the time. Wait… wait… wait… wait… wait…=
Hmm, the Queen tells him to wait, but in Apostasy Act 3, I think, she tells him he could kill him as soon as the Hive was back to normal, or something alike. I guess now was just *too* soon? Lol.

That's all I typed up. I'm looking forward to the rest of the ep. What does the 'crossed lines' refer to. Asking help from hybrids? We'll see!
See ya, hun, and GL with the wedding. You're going to be showing me pictures of that! ;-)
Spikey
Re: Crossing Lines: Act 1 - part 2
As I said, there will be more Isla to come, and of /course/ she'll have the /chance/ to redeem herself. Whether she manages it, that's another matter entirely.
You'll have to wait and see how it unfolds *evil grin*
Yeah, everyone hiding behind one planet would be funny, but... I don't think there's gonna be much hiding done. Remember the battles in Harm's Way?
There is much still to come between the commander and the hive second - I promise.
Thanks for the GL wishes. There will be pictures yes..
