"Why aren't they returning fire?" he mused aloud.
Hmm, let’s see. The Hive Commander is having some fun in his bedroom, the Hive Second is playing with Sheppard, and the Queen is situated on her bony ass on the Hive floor… Where *is* the Hive Third? Probably wondering where the rest of them are… Poor guy.
**
The hybrid, I don’t know what to think of him… Perhaps the next Act gives us even more of an insight into his character.
*Reads him throwing himself onto his Queen*
Oh, Mikey’s not going to be a happy camper, that’s for sure! *grin*
*Reads on again*
Now they’re rolling together? That’s it, he’s dead! :P
Funny, her pointing her handgun on him. He did not expect that. And doesn’t appreciate it, either. Ah well.
**
"Interesting," Malcolm hissed. "Your anger drives you toward vulgarity, a demonstration, perhaps, of your status among males of your kind. Are you… an alpha among your own… John. Sheppard? Come then – let us finish this."
With this one I can be very short. On the floor. Laughing…
**
he wondered what one called a genius whose mental capacity exceeded that of the ordinary genius by at least three times the norm.
Samantha Carter… :D
**
"You should have allowed her to come," he said, the menace dripping from every syllable he spoke.
And what would the Hive Second have done, had she shown up? Fight her? The one he already chose not to hurt too much before, because it would be a shame as she and Michael are so close to each other, and he fits his plans?
Is he angry at Sheppard for having dared to bang his head against his, or what? Lol. Kinda funny.
**
How dare they do this to him – create some kind of doppelganger and send it against him; to break him – the ultimate, final injury they could inflict.
They are good, aren’t they? Silly, very hurt boy.
**
Her eyes widened and he felt her stiffen in his grasp as he fell into the deep brown of her eyes, that already were warming with horrified compassion for his plight.
She has compassion for his plight, or for him?
Oh, Mikey, just you wait until you see how she will be much less horrified with your plight. I’m looking forward to her popping the question. Bummer we can’t see his face on telly, but I bet it’s going to be good.
"Michael?" she gasped, and her voice was filled with the pain he could find no way to express.
Toopid watching hybrid… No hug. Though he did fall to his knees in weakness. I’m sure he would have wanted to do a bit more, if not because of that toopid watching hybrid.

The HC was having way too much fun in the bedroom (and still is). Malcolm is beating up on the second, and the Queen, indeed was driven floorward by Ms Teyla. The Hive third is stressed out to the nines trying to keep things working. Overworked and definitely underpaid.
**
That hybrid really - just a means to an end, but we might get to see more of him in the future - either that or Michael might decide he's outlived his usefulness.. I don't know. He's probably not going to be happy about the hybrid manhandling Ms Teyla, no.
**
Why is the thought of Malcolm asking Sheppard if he's an 'alpha male' so funny?
**
Oooh, loved the comment about Sam carter.
**
I'm sure Malcolm would have fought with Teyla, just to see how 'good' she was. I'm sure he could 'fit her in' to his plans somewhere see...
Oh yes, Malcolm has plans.
Yeah, he doesn't like that Sheppard manages to get one over on him.
**
Michael was, very hurt and very silly.
**
Well, she has compassion for him /and/ his plight. Does that count?
Um... what question would that be that she's popping. :P
Yeah, can't show emotion in front of the hybrid - at least, not too much. But soon they'll be behind closed door.
Re: No Way Back: Act 4 - Review part 1
Are guys really alpha males over here? I mean, with our population we pretty much have a gal for each dude, while with the Wraith you have to fight each other to get the Queen...
That's why it's funny.
**
Sam's awesome. Pity she couldn't show it on SGA.
**
Malcolm has plans, huh? I think I commented somewhere that about every high placed Wraith out there has plans with hybrid humans? Lol.
**
The question Teyla's going to pop at some point? 'Michael, would you please stop with killing all these people?' :P
I wonder if that question is going to get them in another fight like Apostasy - Act 2. *cough*
LOL @ those closed doors. Is he going to yell 'stop' at her each time she wants to turn around toward him when there's hybrids present? :-D
Me.
Re: No Way Back: Act 4 - Review part 1
Malcolm's plans don't involve hybrids... and no actually most Wraith commanders are oblivious to their existance, except as 'servants' of the Abomination.
Oh /that/ question. Yeah, that'll be interesting...
He stopped her this time because he knew she'd get emotional... "Above all you must never..." etc.

Also, did the Hive Second know it was Michael’s ship that they were facing. Perhaps he didn’t at first, but knew when he saw the Beam was loaded?
**
"Todd, you sorry son-of-a-bitch, answer me! Stand down!"
Lol, Todd is already long down… It ain’t him, Sheppy… It’s Mikey…
**
"John, can… …" Teyla's broken voice crackled through the speakers, "…fire. … need… assistance."
Sheppard never had the chance to answer.
I wonder if Teyla’s faking her own death over here, since she should be long gone with Michael by now? But perhaps I’m just getting a bit confused with the timeline. Though if they were not out by then yet, Michael sure was cutting it very close as well. Weren’t they into hyperspace before the Elder Hive started blowing up? Hmm…
**
As his steps quickened, as he all but threw himself into a transporter in order to reach his ship in the Dart Bay,
Please just have him explode in the blast, please…
**
Michael blew up his Milla… o_0
One day… perhaps… you will understand.
Does she at least know that he understands, now?
**
Marks sighed, and closed his eyes. If that was the price – if that was the burden of command – then he'd happily stay a major for the rest of his life.
I just thought I’d mention that I found the Marks part in it a cute little addition. :)
**
”their blood is on our hands. Mine as the geneticist that perfected the Hoffan drug and the architect of the retrovirus that created Michael, and on yours for bringing me the Wraith he used to be."
Ya know, not really friendly of Beckett to say it’s *her* fault, after all, she didn’t want to, and all the others practically demanded it of her.
Gah, I wanted to mention that on all three sides – Teyla, Beckett and Michael – it’ll probably sting for a long while yet, but on the other hand, didn’t Michael already offer her comfort once when she was thinking of the past?
**
I’m looking very much forward to more. Or let me say it like this: I very much liked what I saw already. *evil grin*
See ya later!
Spikey
Re: No Way Back: Act 4 - Review part 2
The Hive Second came to know who they were facing yes. And yes, he'd read the information about the CBW from Michael's mind during that fateful interrogation where he actually pushed so hard he damaged Michael's mind. That's something worth remembering...
**
Yeah, but Shep doesn't know that Michael was the original creator of the Cascade Beam, working together with Todd... way back when...
**
No, Teyla's not facing her own death. It's never made clear in the text, at least not yet (we will come to see it in flashback another time I'm sure), she was sending a genuine communication to Sheppard while she and Michael were escaping the Hive. each of those little ... in the broken message represents a word. Mind you, Michael /did/ cut it close. And the Michael's Hive jumped away before the Elder Hive /finished/ exploding, but after it had begun. Can't leave before you're sure a job is done.
**
THe HC is rather catlike... that's all I'll say at this point.
**
I like to think that, just before she blew up, Milla came to know that Michael understands.
**
I like Kevin. He's way underrated if you ask me.
**
Beckett is just being honest. Believe me, he's feeling his own guilt in all this like a stone around his neck.
Michael is prepared to forgive Teyla, if only she will accept her responsibility and not keep trying to make excuses... but the time is coming... :)
**
Well, you have seen the first act now, and know where certain things are going. :P
Later lovie.
Re: No Way Back: Act 4 - Review part 2
**
I hope the HC doesn't have many of his kitty lives left. Perhaps with his current scheme... You do have a picture of a very irritated Queen as the pic of Act 3 of Apostasy... Hmm. We'll see.
**
I'm curious to see what kind of responsibilities Teyla will be given when the time comes.
**
Well, Act 1 and Act 2 of Apostasy were both love. :-D
Hope you're good.
Me.
