You Lift Me Up

We, like the birds, are meant to fly and sing-that's all...
It's funny that yesterday I was kind of thinking this. Waking up and realising that the only thing holding me back from realising one of my dreams is myself, I resolved to get it done. I made the decision yesterday that Use'ara was going to see the light of day this year... I will be self publishing, most likely through kindle, though I won't rule out a POD option. I'm putting my faith in my wings to hold me up - and with or without support it will be done.
Otherwise my dreams are simple - to be with my family, to /have/ a family... and to be able to take some time out to travel and see all of those places I'd like to see. One day I /will/ take Mir to visit Amarna. One day perhaps we'll make it to the world cup in Dubai - and I'm not talking soccer here, people. And one day soon we'll curl up together in the hammock outside, and she'll read to me from one of our books, and I'll just lie there listening, eyes closer, enjoying the closeness.
Yeah - that's the wind beneath my wings - right there.
Birds learn how to fly, never knowing
where flight will take them.
We, like the birds, are meant to fly and sing-that's all...
