Feeling Like A Little Girl...

I just a few minutes ago went down to make some (more) tea, and Mum said, "I want all your washing done in the middle of next week." I blinked and looked at her perplexed I guess. I always do my laundry, it's not like I leave it piled up and stuff... so I didn't quite register what she was saying, or more's the point why she was saying it. After a moment of looking at my confused face, she said, "Well after that we won't have a washing machine for a while."

It was then I realised, ah yes... the new kitchen. Next week is the last in November, and the kitchen is being rebuilt from 1st December... no appliances. No kitchen... no nothing. That will be interesting then.
